About the Author -
After Bengal was partitioned, Mr. Hari Pada Roychoudhury of Karimganj, a native of Sylhet in the united India, came to India as a street child. He graduated from GU in India with a Master of Science and an LLB, and from UMIST in the UK with a Ph.D. He quit his work in the UK and moved back to India to help his fellow citizens. Until his retirement, he was a professor of chemistry at Cotton College. The division of Bengal had turned him into a street kid, thanks to Gandhi.
