Internet Explorer 11 will retire from Windows 10 in 2023.

In a few months, it will no longer be possible to use Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10.

Well almost. Indeed, if an automatic redirection from Internet Explorer 11 to Microsoft Edge is in place, it is still possible to use IE under certain conditions (and with a certain motivation). But at the beginning of next year, this will no longer be possible on certain versions of Windows 10.

Besides Windows 10, Internet Explorer still works with Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8.1, Server 2012 R2 and Server 2008 R2 (SP1). Remember that the end of support for the two OS for the general public, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, is fast approaching anyway .
