How to Deactivate Instagram account?

If you want to take a break from Instagram, you can deactivate your account temporarily. Here are the steps to deactivate your Instagram account:

Open Instagram on your mobile Phone or Computer Laptop.

Go to your profile by tapping on your profile picture in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner of your profile page.

Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.

Scroll down and select "Account".

Select "Temporarily disable my account".

Choose a reason why you want to deactivate your account from the drop-down menu.

Re-enter your password.

Click "Temporarily Disable Account".

Once you've completed these steps, your account will be temporarily deactivated. Your profile, photos, comments, and likes will be hidden until you reactivate your account by logging in again.

It's important to note that you can only deactivate your account once a week, and deactivating your account won't delete your account permanently. If you want to permanently delete your Instagram account, you'll need to follow a different set of steps.
