The limited-edition Panigale V2 Bayliss edition has been introduced in our market by Ducati India. Retail prices for this updated Panigale V2 motorcycle are more than those for the base model. Better hardware and a change in livery are among the improvements over the ordinary motorcycle.
Based on the Panigale V2 standard, the new Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss maintains the same styling cues as the standard model, including a twin-pod headlight, muscular bodywork, a rider-only seat, a single-sided swingarm, a small exhaust canister, and a pointed tail section. The Bayliss edition has a distinctive livery with a red base paint and graphics in green and white. The fuel tank also bears Troy Bayliss' race number 21 and his autograph.
The Bayliss edition's mechanical characteristics are the same as those of the ordinary Panigale V2, including its L-twin, liquid-cooled, 955cc engine, which generates 104Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm and 152.9bhp of power at 10,750 rpm. The gearbox has a six-speed motor attached to it. Due to its three kilogramme weight reduction, the Bayliss edition has a little higher power-to-weight ratio. Through the use of lithium-ion batteries and a single-seat design, the weight has been reduced. Keep in mind that the footrests and passenger seat are part of the basic equipment.
A quick shifter, an auto-off indicator, an eyebrow-style DRL, an LED taillight, a twin-pod projector headlamp, and a carbon fibre and titanium silencer outlet cover are among the features. Three riding modes (Race, Sport, and Street), Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Engine Brake Control, Power Modes, Ducati Wheelie Control, and Auto Tyre Calibration are just a few of the electronic aids available. The lap timer, anti-theft warning, GPS module, and multimedia options are all shown on the 4.3-inch colour TFT instrument cluster.
