It's been two years since the Shorts took a growing place in YouTube. If these small videos inspired by TikTok and Instagram meet with some success on the Google platform, it must be admitted that they have become particularly invasive. All you have to do is go to the home page of one of your favorite channels to see that the Shorts appear in the same tab as the videos, resulting in a concern for consistency and clarity.
To overcome this, the Mountain View firm announced that the Shorts would henceforth be separated from the videos and that they would finally have their own tab, as shared with us by the 9to5Google teams . Thus, the pages of the channels will now be better organized, and the vertical thumbnails of the Shorts will no longer mix with those of the videos.
