When charging is complete, there is no indicator, and when you turn it on, there is no indication of how much charge is left. When the charge is out, it will just switch off. It's inconvenient to not realise it's going to die and then have to charge it when you'd rather be using it. It is possible to get around this by charging it every day or by keeping note of how many hours you use it. But that's also bothersome. Because there is no sign that the device has attained charge, I am also unsure of how long it takes to charge completely. I thus just let it charge all day. However, depending on what you want to use it for, the charge does last a respectable period of time as I've used it for several hours without having to recharge.
The main reason I got it was because it was comfortable to rest on its side. My AirPods were hurting my ears since I slept on my side and use a gadget to watch TV.
I had to crank the volume on my smartphone all the way up to hear well, and it will beep at you when you've reached the maximum volume.
Overall, good value for the money as long as you utilise the included charging cord!
