Honor's flagship smartphones for 2024 represent a remarkable leap in hardware innovation. The Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro stand out with the inclusion of Qualcomm's top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, stunning LTPO OLED displays, and an exceptional triple-camera setup on the Pro model, featuring an impressive 180MP periscope lens.
The displays on both models boast a 6.8-inch curved LTPO AMOLED with a resolution of 1,264 x 2,800 pixels and a variable 1-120Hz refresh rate. Honor proudly presents a peak brightness of 1,800 nits in auto mode and an astounding 5,000 nits of local peak brightness for HDR content.
Featuring 4,320Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, the displays also house a 50MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. While the Magic 6 sports a single punch hole cutout, the Pro variant incorporates a pill-shaped cutout to accommodate the 3D depth face unlock module.
Turning to the rear, a redesigned camera island houses a 50MP main camera with variable aperture on the Magic 6 Pro and a 50MP shooter on the Magic 6. The Pro model further impresses with a 180MP periscope lens, offering 2.5x optical zoom and an astonishing 100x digital zoom, alongside a 50MP ultrawide lens. The non-Pro variant features a 32MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical and 50x digital zoom, along with a 50MP ultrawide lens.
Both smartphones come with Honor's latest MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14, offering options of 12GB or 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage for the Pro model.
In the power department, the Magic 6 boasts a 5,450mAh battery with 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging via Honor's proprietary wireless charger. The Pro variant steps up with a 5,600mAh battery, supporting 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging.
